Get device information

The Adtrace Web SDK generates a web_uuid when it tracks the first session. The ID is unique per subdomain and browser and follows the UUID format.

Use getWebUUID to read it for analytics, Testing Console checks, or server-to-server events.

Method signature​

Adtrace.getWebUUID();

Example​

const webUUID = Adtrace.getWebUUID();
console.log(webUUID);

Testing Console​

Enter web_uuid in Settings → Testing Console in the panel to verify install tracking. See Test the integration.
